For the logo, I chose a simple line style that not only works well in vector, but is ideal for possibly future sign writing on vehicles and helicopters. Creating the business card and letterhead was a matter of creating an overall theme, one that would eventually fit in with any materials Aviation Tutors will produce, this meant it needed to be both simple and stylish. I chose the red and orange gradient because of their ideal contrast to black. The clouds broke up the solid mass of the gradient and the uneven 'ground' shape underneath the logo adds interest to the eye and makes an ideal border for the letterhead and a future website.
